a lot of pictures: beware!

my school is right next door literally to a palace (palacio de liria) and it's really close to the plaza de españa. i walk there pretty much everyday after class and just kinda people watch. but anyway these pictures are from the tour we did on monday that was very brief and FREEZING. we saw la plaza de españa, el palacio real, la plaza mayor, sol, y gran vía. there a lot more pictures i couldawouldashoulda taken but it was so cold that i didn't want to look up at all hahaa. i will go back soon and take proper pictures.





















so, flor's dog is named figo as i think i've mentioned. i asked her the other day if he was named after luis figo and she said he was but he didn't know it. hahahaha. her two sons are apparently crazy real madrid fans (i told her i was too), and there is a replica of the santiago bernabéu trofeo from 86-87 in my room. IN MY ROOM. amazing. and there is a little figurine of manuel sanchis. heeeee. there are a few pictures of the view from my room and the view from the bathroom. i really like the neighborhood i'm staying in. it's right off a main street (calle de alcalá) where there are tons of shops but it's a small neighborhood and it's quiet. there's a bar downstairs from my apartment and i think i might go tonight. there's a boy living at flor's as well and he's name is brian. he's from california and he's been great to have around. he told me about an internet cafe down the street in our neighborhood so if i'm desperate i can pay for the internet. hahaha.

let's see... most of the pictures are from sol about an hour ago. i didn't realize i had a smudge on my lens until i was resizing these in photoshop. :( i got to pet a horse today! the brown one in the pictures. i nearly cried haha. and i realized i forgot to go to the real madrid shop to get a folder damnit! maybe i'll go in the morning or after class. bleeeeh.

oh jess by the way i didn't lose my ipod! i found it in my computer bag yay! only this morning on the metro it just stopped playing and i can't get it to come back on. :(

by the way it was really amazing watching the atléti game on tv last night like. down the road from the calderón. it's right next to rey's apartment. i really wanted to go to the game but i didn't want to miss real madrid, so i didn't. but it's a good thing i didn't anyway because kun didn't play. anyway blahblahblah onto the pictures.
